People First Leadership

Kingsville is growing and evolving, but growth alone does not define the future of a community. The decisions we make today will shape the kind of town our families, seniors, businesses, and future generations experience tomorrow.

Building a Stronger Kingsville: Smart Investment in Recreation and Community

Kingsville is growing rapidly.

More young families are moving into our town. More children are entering our schools. More residents are looking for opportunities to stay active, connected, and engaged within the community.

As our population grows, our amenities and recreational infrastructure must grow with it.

Investing in recreation is not simply about building sports fields or facilities. It is about creating healthier families, stronger communities, opportunities for youth, and a higher quality of life for residents of all ages.

Kingsville must think bigger and plan ahead for the future growth of our town.

From indoor recreation facilities and youth programs to trails, waterfront development, sports infrastructure, and community spaces, these projects require leadership, long-term vision, and the ability to secure major funding opportunities.

One of the unique strengths I bring to this role is the experience, working relationships, and government knowledge needed to help bring significant funding, grants, partnerships, and investment opportunities into Kingsville.

Over the past decade, I have worked closely within both provincial and federal governments alongside Premiers, ministers, senior administrators, and policy teams. I understand how governments operate, how funding systems work, and how municipalities can strategically position themselves to compete for major infrastructure and community investments.

Municipalities that build strong relationships and know how to navigate government systems are far more successful in securing outside funding for their residents. Kingsville taxpayers should not carry the full burden alone.

We must become more proactive, competitive, and strategic in bringing resources into our community to help build the amenities and opportunities our growing town deserves.

This is about investing in families.

Investing in youth.
Investing in community.
And building a stronger Kingsville for the next generation.

On paper, the Mayor’s position in Kingsville is considered a part-time role. For many years, that structure worked, and I respect the leaders who served our community under that model.
But Kingsville is changing.
