People First Leadership
I am running to bring People First Leadership to Kingsville. Leadership that listens to residents, asks tough questions, respects taxpayers, and puts the needs of our community at the centre of every decision.
about me
A LEADER WHO LISTENS. A COMMUNITY THAT THRIVES.
My wife and I chose Kingsville because of its strong sense of community, natural beauty, and the kind of environment we wanted for our three daughters to grow up in. Today, our daughters are going to school here, building friendships here, and growing alongside many other families who care deeply about the future of this town.
Throughout my career, I have worked closely with senior government officials, community leaders, stakeholders, and decision-makers across Ontario and Canada. That experience taught me the importance of communication, transparency, collaboration, and bringing people together to solve problems and move communities forward.
But beyond titles and positions, public service has always been about people. Whether through policing, government service, advocacy work, or community engagement, my focus has always been on listening, understanding concerns, and working toward practical solutions that improve people’s lives.
That is why I decided to step forward and run for Mayor of Kingsville. I am committed to bringing calm, balanced, and experienced leadership focused on residents, families, seniors, businesses, and the long-term future of our community.
why i'm running
Over the past several years, I’ve had the opportunity to meet and speak with many residents, families, seniors, business owners, and community members across Kingsville, Cottam, Ruthven, and surrounding areas.
- Again and again, I’ve heard many of the same concerns.
- People want leadership that listens.
- They want to feel heard and respected.
- They want more transparency and communication.
- They want responsible planning and accountability.
They want leadership that is present, accessible, and fully committed to the community. As Kingsville continues to grow, many residents are also concerned about protecting the character of our town while ensuring infrastructure, services, and planning keep pace with growth.
I understand those concerns. My decision to run for Mayor did not come from politics alone. It came from conversations with residents, personal experiences within the community, and a genuine desire to contribute in a meaningful way.
Public service has been a major part of my life for more than a decade through policing, government leadership, advocacy, and community engagement. Those experiences taught me the importance of communication, accountability, calm leadership, and bringing people together to solve problems.
I also understand that leadership is not about division or personal politics. It is about serving people fairly, respectfully, and responsibly. Kingsville deserves leadership that works collaboratively, communicates openly, and focuses on long-term success for the entire community.
My goal is simple: To help build a stronger, safer, more connected, and more accountable Kingsville where residents feel proud of their community, confident in their local government, and optimistic about the future. I am ready to listen, ready to work, and ready to serve.

Building a Stronger Kingsville: Smart Investment in Recreation and Community
Kingsville is growing rapidly.
More young families are moving into our town. More children are entering our schools. More residents are looking for opportunities to stay active, connected, and engaged within the community.

Why I Am Committing Full-Time Hours If Elected Mayor
On paper, the Mayor’s position in Kingsville is considered a part-time role. For many years, that structure worked, and I respect the leaders who served our community under that model.
But Kingsville is changing.

Town hall should not be the biggest obstacle to success.
Over the past several weeks, I have spoken with greenhouse operators, farmers, small business owners, developers, and residents across Kingsville. One message continues to come up: Town Hall has become too difficult to navigate.
