People First Leadership
Kingsville is growing and evolving, but growth alone does not define the future of a community. The decisions we make today will shape the kind of town our families, seniors, businesses, and future generations experience tomorrow.

TOWN HALL SHOULD NOT BE THE BIGGEST OBSTACLE TO SUCCESS.
Over the past several weeks, I have spoken with greenhouse operators, farmers, small business owners, developers, and residents across Kingsville.
One message continues to come up:
Town Hall has become too difficult to navigate.
People are frustrated by delays, inconsistent communication, excessive bureaucracy, and processes that seem far more complicated than they need to be.
When businesses face unnecessary obstacles, opportunities are lost.
Projects stall.
Jobs are delayed.
Investments go elsewhere.
And our entire community pays the price.
I have also heard concerns about the number of disputes and lawsuits involving the Town.
Whether those matters are ultimately resolved in court or not, the fact that these concerns continue to be raised is worrisome.
A well-run municipality should be focused on solving problems, building relationships, and finding practical solutions before situations escalate.
Kingsville needs a Town Hall that works with people, not against them.
As your next Mayor, I will establish a Mayor’s Red Tape Reduction Task Force.
This task force will bring together local business owners, greenhouse operators, farmers, developers, and community leaders who understand firsthand the challenges of navigating municipal processes.
Its mandate will be simple:
- Identify unnecessary barriers
- Improve communication
- Recommend service standards
- Reduce delays
- Increase accountability
- Help create a more business-friendly Town Hall
The role of local government is to protect the public interest while helping responsible businesses succeed.
Town Hall should help move opportunities forward, not stand in their way.
We need a common-sense approach that welcomes investment, supports local jobs, strengthens our economy, and delivers better service to residents.
A stronger economy starts with a more responsive Town Hall. It’s time to cut the red tape, remove unnecessary barriers, and create the conditions for success.
That is the leadership I will bring to Kingsville.

Why I Am Committing Full-Time Hours If Elected Mayor
On paper, the Mayor’s position in Kingsville is considered a part-time role. For many years, that structure worked, and I respect the leaders who served our community under that model.
But Kingsville is changing.
